Bio
Parisa was born and raised in Esfahan, Iran, where she spent most of her life. She graduated high school in Iran, where she struggled to continue her education due to her religion. She decided to leave her country to follow her dream and continue her education. She also lived in Turkey for a couple of years while waiting to move to the United States.
She started her journey in the USA by learning English as a second language in college. Later she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas in Dallas. While learning human anatomy in college, her love for neurology started. Later her personal life caused an emotional draw to neurology. Parisa received her medical degree from DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. While in medical school, she felt a strong attraction to the complexmysteries of neurological disease. She is elated to have been matched in the University of Texas Dell Medical School’s Neurology residency where she has the pleasure of working with some of the most outstanding neurologists and learning from most perplexing clinical cases. Her goal is to work in an outpatient clinic as a general neurologist in the future.
Outside of work, she loves to spend most of her time with her three-year-old daughter. She loves spending time in nature with her family. She also enjoys cooking, baking, and watching movies.
