Bio

Cyrus Ayubcha is graduate student who is simultaneously pursuing both an M.D. degree at Harvard Medical School, and a Ph.D. degree under the guidance of Dr. Albert Hofman and Dr. Andrew Beam at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health. During his undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, Cyrus studied political science and worked with Dr. Abass Alavi at the Department of Nuclear Medicine and Radiology in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. During his time at the University of Oxford, he studied social policy and  completed a graduate thesis, titled "Medicaid Expansion Saves Lives in Cities: A Generalized Synthetic Control Study of Urban Mortality in the American Northeast." Cyrus remains committed to the pursuit of methodological innovations in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as public policy initiatives aimed at promoting healthcare and economic equity.
